COuld you PM me with the prices and everything i need to make one work? Ive never really understood the requirements for these things? DO you need a camera in a bag on my back or something? im totally blonde with this sort of thing!
You will need some sort of recording devoce with AV input be it a personal media player or Camcorder with an AV input you then put the camera and reciver near to where you want to be being filmed or in backpack in tool storage or anywhere you can shove it and record away. I have a bullet cam and a mini DV camcorder which has a wire going to it I personally find this better as I have the 2.4ghz reciver and I know the tuning knob can be moved very easily so they are better if your staying in one area and have the reciver recorder seperate..
Heres a video of me and my scooter ambling about at night made with my Bullet Cam although the quality has been compressed!! So you can see the sort of footage you could get from this.
but as Projectzip said you will need an mp4 player/recorder, a camcorder or a pc/laptop to record. anything with a video/AV input.
I'll find some examples of mini mp4 player/recorders. thats the simplest way to do it if you haven't got a camera already. then it just records to the memory card.
Im not worried if its got a wire or not, whatever i can get the cheapest? Will it be good for MX or will the bumps distort it? JUst wondering wanted one for a while, so if one comes up cheap...
the major thing you must do is mount it properly! Helmet is a good place but you will get all the head movement in if you fit it to the bike you get the straight ahead shot butyou gotta check the picture whilst your sitting with full weight on the bike.
